A lot of famous pieces use mezzo piano. Song of India, Dumia, Gypsy Dance, Volga Boat Song...etc...

I wonder if any composers used sharps in their pieces. Does anyone know a famous piece that uses sharps?

Also, I'd like to find a piece that employs the G below middle C. If anyone could find one like that, let me know.

What I'd really like to find, though, is a famous piece that uses violins. Does anyone know of any?

Almost every compose uses every dynamic level in their music. You need to sit down with some sheet music and you'll find plenty of mp's almost immediately.

I can name some composer who DIDN'T use mezzo-dynamic markings.
In the early 18th Century, the only dynamic markings were f and p.
And Bach only used even f and p rarely.
In the Well-Tempered Clavier, there is only one prelude which has any dynamic markings.
