I love rain. It rarely if ever freaks me out. I prefer either a drizzling rain or a hard pounding rain. For some reason rain has always been somewhat symbolic to me. So to answer your question, I smile when I'm caught in the rain.

I smile, especially during thunderstorms....it feels like I'm getting my picture taken.
Actually, when I was in my late 20's, I was leaving a store during a terrible downpour. There were about twenty people waiting out the storm just inside the door. I thought "what it would be like to be a kid again", so I slowly walked outside, approached a very large puddle, and jumped up and down in it about ten times....god that felt good! I got in my car and drove home. I can't wait for the next opportunity to do that again!

It all depends on my mood,and what I'm doing on that rainy day.
There have been many times in my life when rain was absolutely ruinous to my plans.I don't sit behind a desk for a living , you see.
Every day my job takes me to many corners of a metropolitan area that has traffic problems that are only compounded by less-than-ideal weather.It is on those days that I curse the rain-gods.I have deadlines to meet , and the lack of foul-weather driving skills that are exhibited by a good number of my "neighbors" makes those deadlines very hard to meet when I have to sit in the backed up traffic that results from their accidents.
But I DO love the feeling of rain on my face.It reminds me that I'm alive.I LOVE to stand out in the rain , and let it fall on me.
No one where I live comes out on foot in the rain unless they really have to.And very few do.It's only then that I can be outdoors without having to worry about stepping out of someone elses way , or having to say "excuse me". It's almost like I have my neighborhood to myself , if only for a little while.I really feel at home in the rain when I'm wearing my leather jacket and my cowboy hat.The hat rolls the rain right out of my face , and away from the back of my neck.
It's almost like I have the whole world to my self , because no one else is out in the mess.
I HATE rain when I have to drive , but I LOVE it when I can walk!
THAT is when I like the rain.
