So today at school a guy found a flyer for a Gay Fest but it was just a joke and he didn't know that so the subject of our Gay Straight Alliance club came up and he started saying that this is what the GSAC did in their spare time, and this stupid @$$ started saying stuff like how we are allowed to have it and he is going to create and white people club. and then he started to talk about how some company is plannng on coming out with a gay hooters and there going to call it gooters or something stupid like that, and then another guy said that they would never get enough business, HELLO have you never heard of gay bars and club and I for one would TOTTALLY LOVE THAT. I wanted to start screaming at him, however i am still in the closet. If anyone is reading this from Mrs. Murphy's Ceramics class 3rd period, you know who I'm talking about (Bob >:/)

Ummm yeah. Nice rant. I sympathize. Look, there is a lot of fear and ignorance there. Try not to laugh at them too much. I would like to say that things improve with age...but ummm they really don't...well much anyway. Remember, you are gay, and therefore better than them (cough cough). So cheer up !

STRAIGHT men are not all such ***** -- nor are straight bois. However, you have already proved that this man is also a racist as well as a homophobe (a VERY common combination, in fact I've seen one without some form of the other only a few times in my, well, many more years than you ;-) ) SOME men and boys, straight and gay, are idiots. This person seems to be one by your description. Don't sweat it. I guarantee you that many straight bois are not like him. Most of our friends are straight and NONE of them are like that.
On the other hand, he clearly has serious problems, so try to have more compassion and mercy for him than he is willing to have for you. Care about him even when he hates you -- its the best things you can do.

That's only one guy. Take a look at my "contacts" on here - I'm a straight guy.
Also, if you are still in school it is common for boys to teach other boys. Some might even be hiding behind a macho image to conceal the fact they also have gay tendencies. Jerks come in all sexual-tendency varieties.
