That's a great question! Remind me to give you a star.
Well, since I'm stuck at home because of my health, I consider this as my "volunteer work." A LOT of people on this site are ill.
Anyway, I think I would pay up to $50 a month. That's all. I know one guy who spends 18 hours a day doing this. He's in the computer category and really helps people. I stay in the "Health" categories. I love giving advice and I know I'm helping people because of the feedback I get.

I'm looking forward to seeing your other answers. Don't pay attention to the jerks. One star for you!! :D

Hell yes I'd still use it. If Yahoo actually charged people for using Yahoo Answers, then we'd probably have far less trolls then we do now. I'd pay a max of $20 per year to use it.

No- what would be the point? I mean, charging us means we pay them to ask questions, and then answer our own questions with our own money? That doesn't make much sense!

Maybe if they charged us for asking questions, and then giving us professional answers... But I'm pretty sure I wouldn't pay, even then.

they're politicians, of direction they might pay themselves. If the GOP destroys the country, what might they reign over? And look on line what number costs Harry Reid has no longer even placed to a vote in the Senate. Nvm, did it for you.

I would pay $5 bucks a month. But that would lead me to search out a more serious forum.
I despise putting a price on anything.

Well...someone mentioned trolls. Maybe something like paying 10 dollars a year until you have a certain amount of points or something , thus getting rid of most of the trolls.

No, I wouldn't pay.

While it's nice to come here and get the opinions and research of others, it's just as easy to go to a different forum for the same thing.

There is no value here other than that which its users bring.

no I'd stop using it after the shoddy way they treated users a few months ago, honestly would you pay for a service that punishes the customers who comply with the rules and lets the ones who break them stay.

I would probably stop using it. I have to pay an insane amount of bills each month. I don't want to add another one to the pile.

I'd pay a minimum charge, ie: $10-$20 a year. No more...
