I agree that it is gettin old. And someone mentioned that ohio state is always ranked high in pre season and thats how they keep the good ranking? I'm pretty sure that the SEC has the most PREseason ranked teams which help them maintain rankings throughout the year.
Its unfair to call ohio state overrated. Every team plays some easier games. Everyone says the big ten is down as well. It doesn't matter what conference you are from, when you are playing the teams you see year after year, you develop a little rival which makes every team a challenge from week to week. So far up to this point, ohio state has been one of a few teams to do what was expected out of a couple "top teams."

What up Jerrod,
I think one of the reasons Ohio State is not getting any love is because this has been one of the most unusual college football seasons ever.
Ohio State this year is an old school blue collar working team without any superstars (and i think most Buckeye fans would agree that they aren't as talented or star-studded as some of their previous teams which people had higher expectations for).
At the end of the day - they are in the best BCS position to control their own destiny- if they win out they get the chance to prove it on the field. If they say lose to Michigan who lost to App. State- they will have no say in terms of a group of one loss teams.
I'm a PAC-10 guy myself so no disrespect to the BIG-10 because my contention this year is with how over-rated the SEC is.

Youngstown State has won 4 national championships.
Jim Tressel used to coach there. They play Ohio State to get an opportunity to earn some much needed cash.
Every team schedules lesser competition at different times during the year.
Might they be better than Louisiana Tech? Probably.
Might they be better than Western Carolina? Probably.
Might they be better than North Texas? Probably.
These were other teams that played some of the top ranked schools in the country.
So, what's your point?
And by the way, Ohio State doesn't take a week off during the year like many other teams.
Whisper, your team lost to Kentucky of all teams, 3rd tier at best. You've got no right to talk down to anybody!
Nothing is more idiotic than talking about last year, you don't think these are two different teams?
What about the Big 10 winning 2 out of 3 bowls last year vs. your "decent" SEC teams? Get real.
Now who doesn't know anything about football?

I agree with you so much. It's true they didn't play any good non-conference teams. But people are now saying that wins in Happy Valley (7-3), in Purdue (7-3), and against a tough Wisconsin team (7-3) are "cupcake" teams. LSU lost to Kentucky and Wisconsin, Penn State, and Purdue would all probably beat them. I'm not an Ohio State fan either, i ate them but i am tired of hearing that

I agree. Continuously bringing up the fact that OSU has a cake schedule and probably isnt the top team in the country or even in the top five, wont change the fact that they are ranked #1- whether they deserve to be does NOT matter.

so youre saying we arent allowed to repeat the truth?
osu gets to the top 10 every year by DEFAULT
they dont have a good schedule at all
and the last time you played a decent team( an SEC team by the way) you lost 41-14!
so dont tell me they are overrated because if you know anything about football at all you would know tha=ey dont play anybody!!

I really don't care too much for college sports but yes, im very tired of it. I think OSU has played decent teams this season. Nonetheless, they are still winning so they are doing something right,

You're going to hear that all season, and that's because the ones saying it are the same ones that their teams were rated #1 and lost
