If it's a big enough deal, a sheriff will come looking for you and arrest you on the warrant. But if it's not a big deal, it will just stay on file and the next time you get pulled over or whatever, it will show up and they'll arrest you. May as well deal with it so it's over.

Depends on the offense. They do not have the budget to chase down all failure to appears. If it is a traffic violation, and you get pulled over again, the likely outcome is that the cop will take your license, since it will probably be suspended anyway, and you will find your self on foot.

You may already have a warrant out for your arrest. You may want to call a lawyer and see what can be done at this point.
Or you may just want to turn your self in.

Better get your butt in there ASAP. If you get pulled over, or in trouble of any kind, or even stopped, they will arrest you.
Try night court.
