yeah, sure, its a great political statement and if the surface of the ground is flat, the tank going slow and you are very careful, you'll go right under the belly which has plenty of clearance. Now if the driver were to do a 90 degree turn while your under it, you'd likely come out the other end of the tracks in little blocks of finely chewed muscle and bone. The scream would be kinda loud too. Some tanks were built with hatches under the belly for egress and ingress. So, there is a good amount of room.

How would standing in front of a tank stop a war? The tank will probably just run over you and the war will still go on

I'd blow up the tank and everyone who is walking behind it. Then I'd let them know that each and every act of aggression will be met with a greater response. The tank would have a choice -- stop and pull out the white flag or die.

Heck NO! My crazy cousin drives those things! Those guys WILL run over you! Just get the heck out the way and find a dirty underhanded way to stop the war...after all, there are no rules in war.

It's just that standing in front of a tank isn't going to stop anything anyway.

wow...you been reading my mine?i seen that commercial i think for CNN,they show this lady trying to block a tank by standing in front of it.that took a lot of courage.where is that clip from?i don't know if i could do that.i;m sure she wasn't sure either before she did it.

no,it didnt stop war when others stood and got killed by the tank,they just kept on rolling.It was the saddest thing i ever saw..But im against war..
