and then was ousted in a coup by the military?

Isn't Pakistand chock full of Radical islamists who would love to turn that country into a islamic state? In fact, if there was a democratically held election and all Pakistanis had a vote, would the result of said election not be that those who are proponents of an islamic state be the ones elected? So why is Bush calling for democratic elections? is it because he knows what the results would be ahead of time...and the election would be stolen?

She was the prime minister. She is there to promote democracy. Her father did the same before her and he was assassinated. She is not an Islamic radical and had stopped covering her head but has done so again since returning to Pakistan.

No, but her and her whole administration were corrupt from the top on down.
