Has anything absolutely unexplainable happened to you?

Has anything happened to you or anyone you know (and trust enough to believe!) that you simply can't explain? I don't mean just hearing a bump in the night, I mean something pretty grand - it doesn't have to be supernatural.

Examples: someone you know vanishing off the face of the earth without a trace, a supernatural encounter, something that defies the laws of science, time, space, etc. Anything at all that fits the question.

My mother had died about a month previously. I was reading a suspense novel in bed during the day. My mother called my name and without thinking I said "yes?", then realized she had died. I went into the kitchen where she always sat to see if she was there. Of course, she wasn't. I never heard her again. It was so odd.
