why do birth control pills punish you after you stop taking them?

I took them for 6 months and they made me sick the entire time. Now that I've stopped, I have my period every two weeks, extreme cramps (worse than before birth control!), my entire face has broken out (I've never had acne in my life!) and I'm going crazy! Why is it punishing me for not taking it anymore?!?!

(btw, i talked to my doctor and she said i am fine and all these side effects are "normal" wtf!?!?!!!)

There is more than one type of pill. Try another type. I am sure you will find one that works for you.
