I have almost no thyroid. It requires me to take a pill every single morning for the rest of my life.

As for shots, you could ask for a vitamin B12 shot... but it won't fix your thyroid. You need to see an endocrinologist and be monitored. In addition to taking a pill every morning, I get my blood tested every four months to make sure my levels are okay. Thyroid issues are a pain in the neck!

No, it's usually oral meds to treat low thyroid.
