My deceased husband had a fender bender accident awhile back. No police reports, can the other party bring a civil lawsuit against him even though no one was injured.

Just a little more info. The fender bender occured while my husband was alive, but the other party file the lawsuit after his death. the other party gave false insurance info. also there is no police report as they only exchange info at the time only to find out the guy gave false insurance info so now my insurance is going after him to recover what was paid out since he doesnt have any insurance.

Sort of. They can sue his estate even if no one was injured. Damage occurred. Hopefully you or your deceased husband contacted your insurance company.

They could bring an action against your husband's estate, depending upon how long ago the accident occurred. But wouldn't your insurance have covered any damages?

the single man or woman became superb, a surviving companion, would draw on that man or woman's reward, using that kind...in spite of the undeniable fact that it has a D assigned at the back of it to designate (Deceased)...the survivor can proceed to drawn reward against that kind or if and while they exchange into eligible below their own sort, which ever income is extra, the different sort turns into out of date..........thank you

No.

The man is dead who was in the accident....you, as the widow inherited his assets....they now belong to you legally and are in your name...you were not involved in the accident.

They probably could have proceeded while he was still alive but without a police report, they wouldn't have gotten anything.

Without a police report, it's just "he said, she said" with no assignment of blame or anything else.

Don't worry about it.

If he left an inheritance for anyone, they can sue his estate and get it out of there.
