Well, D and E aren't true. The rest Im not really sure what they mean. hehe =]
BTW. the density of something does not have to be less than water for it to float in water. Oil floats and it has a greater density. Ice sinks because of its weight=], but its still made out of water , therefore it has a posibility of floating.
The temperature of the water has to do with floating. Oil floats when the water is hot (like your soup)

Of course e) "For ice to float in water, it's density must be less than that of water." The only way for something to float in water would be if its density is less than that of water.
