I like Matthew Christopher for a boy, but I think Emily Rose is a little too common. Try spelling Emily differently, like Emilie or Emalie. If you don't want to do that, then maybe change the middle name. I like Emily Kaitlyn, Emily Lauren, Emily Claire, Emily Delilah, Emily Corinne, Emily Julianna, and Emily Jordana. The names are both very classic and traditional, so if that's what you wanted then great, you got it. Congrats on your new baby!=]

Emily Rose is a lovely name, but I think it is a bit too common. There are lots of Emilys and lots of Roses, and I think you could come up with a more unique name to go with either Emily or Rose. Also, Emily Rose sounds kinda familiar... some movie character??
Matthew Christopher is nice, but it also sounds like a familiar name. I think it's kinda long, but it'll work with if you have a short last name. A plus is there's lots of nicknames avaliable, meaning your son can be unique and creative. I like it shorten to Christopher Matt, but Matthew Christopher is nice.
Back to Emily Rose, I suggest you take one of the names, and pair it with a different name. Ayannah Rose is lovely, and so is Emily Grace. Besides for the fact that Emily Rose is too common, it's not bad.
Anyways, good luck with whatever you end up with!

I like Matthew Christopher but Emily Rose was the name of the main character in a movie that came out in 2005 based on girl who was possesed by a demon. That's probably not what you want people thinking of when they say your daughter's name.

Great names. I have to say that Matthew Christopher just seems so common though. But if that's not a concern then why not?

Matthew Christopher sounds biblical.
Emily Rose sounds like somebody ripped of a movie...possession of Emily rose (alittle creepied out by it) or whatever it was called according to my guy and I think middle names like Lynn,Rose, and Marie are played out.
our sons names...
Koda Ainslie & Shilah Xavior.
our daughters names...
Talise Abagail & Amitola Aileen.

Those are good names. If you think of any others just remember to pick a name that when they get older will be appropriate. ex.- Floglesworth, Kandi, & Strawberry you may want to stay away from.
