how do i turn my number lock off? in my g/f account on this same computer it's fine.my o=6,u=4, ect... help

It sounds like the Fn key at the bottom left has stuck down. Try pressing it a few times to hopefully release it.

My keyboard just has a button above the numbers that you press. light on = num lockon , light off = num lock off

RTFM. Read your Laptop User Manual. It will tell you exactly how to turn your NumPad on & off.
