Do we actually know that the airplane crashes and fires caused the World Trade Center to collapse or this just assumed? Is it (in theory) possible that the airplanes crashes were a decoy or diversion so that someone could get a bomb or other implosive or explosive device past security and that the bomb or other implosive or explosive device, not the airplanes, ultimately caused the collapse?

1. What I meant by "not a conspiracy theory" was that this is not a theory that the government was involved in a conspiracy. Obviously, there was a conspiracy between the various hijackers.
2. I thought that most of the planning and preparation involved in a controlled demolition was required only to do it safely and that someone willing to work in an unsafe fashion could get a building to collapse without spending as much time.
I agree that stuff would have to be brought into the building and that this could not have been done while it was occupied, without being noticed. My question is whether this could have been done (possibly by terrorists disguised as rescue workers) AFTER the building was partially evacuated due to the plane crashes.

I agree with Joey that the two airplanes hit the buildings. My question is not whether this happened. My question is whether the plane crashes are what caused the collapse or whether there is a possibility that there were plane crashes followed (but not caused) by collapses that were caused by something else.

If a bomb had been planted after the aircraft crash it would have to be a very large bomb to make a building that size come down and yet there was no loud explosion heard. The cause of the collapse was the intense heat bringing down the top floors and thus causing the whole structure to give way.

Less than a 1% chance. Eyewitnesses and the one CNN footage is very very explicit and shows the planes close up crashing into the towers. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt to these other theories, but they just don't make any sense. Controlled explosions usually have windows in multiple floor blasting. I only seen very limit window shattering in the 911 buildings...which looked like breakage from the building being weak, not by explosion.
No, nothing suggests that terrorist planted bombs or there were any decoys involved. 100's of people were on board and there were cell phone records.

Ok, and how is this not a conspiracy thing? For this to happen, there would have to be a conspiracy.
To properly bomb both of those buildings and get them to collapse the way that they did would take a team of professionals spending weeks planting charges around the buildings. They would have been in there tearing out walls and drilling in supports and would have be very noticed. I have never heard of any reports of people who worked in the Trade Center buildings talking of this stuff happening.
It could not have happened with a single bomb. There is more than one point of failure that a bomb would have to take out. It would have to be done by several bombs going off all at once. These bombs would have to be placed in places that are not easily accessable. Also, there is a certain amount of preparation that needs to be done before the bombs can be set. None of this could have happened in less than a few days and it could not have been done covertly.

Yeah and the special stuff in the bombs went all over the country turning normal seeming people into cynics and theorist whose distrust for the government isn't quite bad enough for them to actually leave and go to belize or some other non american country...So they (you) crap all over the airwaves and come up with "what if "scenarios that are ridiculous and selfishly ignorant and disrespectfull to a whole lot of victims....Too bad the planes weren't full of you and your psycho disbelievers cause you survived and you are a disgrace...And they died horrible deaths...Your need to victimize them further is an affront to us all.You are like the pharisees whom upon seeing Jesus perform a miracle with their own eyes...Denied it happened..Because it would so rock their "agendas" they could not fathom or differentiate truth from lies.
