All right, your exagerating a little bit. Yes, most guys play video games. Some boys play all the time, but guys like me, play once and a while but not too much. Guys play them because they don't usually go on im, or paint there nails. It is usually the only thing to do when there are no hot girls around. Try not to take it personally, it's true

Hey I'm a girl and I'm always playing video games....
Boy do it because they like them and don't have much else to do and it means they don't have to get up and stuff.
Boys are lazy.... (some are anyway)

honestly i think alot of guys are scared of reality and video games are their escape from it. it also gives them a sense of manliness to beat a game or get the highest score and crap like that but as a woman their are select games that i have played 6 hours straight for the need to be good at something and it relieves stress well sometimes.

I think they play because some games are really addicting to boys and they can't stop and if they really have interest in a game I think they'd be playing for a while.

It's not just boys who are addicted. There are girls that are addicted. I love video games but I don't play them every second I can (lol otherwise I'm on the computer)

Because their parents do not control their kids's usage of video games. My 9-yr old son is not allowed to play any video games until he proves to me that he has done all his homework to perfection.

well most people dont understand but its more than just sitting there staring at a screen you have online and the graphics like just pull you in and if he is playing online or live you should try to play it to you will get good and find that it is it as bad as you think it is
