mamabee has the right treatment. I'd add lots of water, vitamin c and maybe make the tea throat coat from GNC. Be careful of taking actual meds because although they'll dry you up, that's part of the problem. They'll dry out your throat too and if you have to sing that may be a problem. Take plenty of water and you may be ok but this is a short amount of time to experiment with...
A doctor's appointment is your best and safest bet. Explain the situation and tell him/her exactly what you'll need to do (sing, dry things out but not so much that you'll sound nasally, throat, etc.) so they can help you.
One thing to remember, no one likes a whiner and no one else wants to get sick. If you need to, state that you are sick ONCE and only once. Don't go on and on about it. Also, if it's really that bad, go home or don't go at all. Keeps your germs to yourself. No hugging or handshakes, etc.
Take good care of yourself this weekend, don't go out and eat lots of chicken soup! It actually does help :-)

i don't think there is really such thing as a miracle working medicine that will cure you in a couple days. but you can definitely take actions to speed up your curing process, such as taking your vitamins, like orange juice or vitamin pills. drink lots of water and honey/lemon tea. get plenty of rest and sleep. also, personally for me, Airbourne has helped me a lot in the past!
while you're doing the best you can, you can't help it if monday comes along and you're not feeling any better. I would definitely go and do the best you can, and hearing the sound of your voice, your director will be able to tell if you're sick (unless you hide it well) and if you get the part, all power to you. if you don't, well you tried your best and life has its ups and downs like stupid flu's. hope this helped!

I've been in the same situation! I'd say first to just take some basic cold medication for a few days, and stay hydrated. If that doesn't work go to the doctor, they can give you a quick solution.

While there is no miracle medicine, there is Tylenol sinus. It works wonders for me and dries me up, so I at the very least, don't feel as sick. Depending on how bad the cold is, Tylenol's line of cold products work wonders (I like their complete (which I think is now called allergy/sinus))
Good Luck!

Go to the doctor first off. Then start drinking hot tea with lemon and honey. Do steam baths..hot water in a bowl with a towel over your head will work.
