accidently burned an item of clothing while ironing it? Happened to me and it was a brand new outfit!!

i burn clothes no matter what setting they on
never my kids or anybody elses just mine and they tend to be the ones that are new
lol

Yes, I was ironing clothes for a friend and I burned the collar on his shirt! I HAD to tell him Oops, he said at least you are smart enough to iron the collar on the wrong side no one will see it!

Not on a brand new outfit! If that happened to me I'd probably cry lol
I have burned a dress shirt, but it was like a year old so it wasn't a big deal. =P

Yep. It was a synthetic suede and the iron was just too hot. The material melted!
I hate ironing. I avoid it at all costs.

Insha'Allah, I give thanks to Allah, Subhanna wa Ta'ala, that He saw fit to make me a "man" and, in my personal experience, men do not iron! Alhumdulillah!
Insha'Allah, eventually, when my daughter gets a bit older, I am certain that I will have to learn however, until that time, I can safely say that I have never scorched clothing while ironing.

Salaam Alaykum Yes and whats worse more than once. I smoke and I burned a hole in an imported and very expensive shirt.
It makes me so mad when I did it!

i havent burned any clothing while ironing =) i iron clothes very carefully. but then again, i don't really iron all of my clothes myself, but when i do i am careful not to burn.

i am 33 years old and not once have i used an iron i wouldnt even know how to use one
