I have 675 of them. Old ones, new ones and speciality ones. I love them and I love to cook.

I have none. I have not cooked a meal in years. I have not even used my stove or oven in years. The local restaurants love me.

About 25. My favorites are any of the Moosewood Collective books (especially "Moosewood Daily Special'), and the Kripalu Cookbook - vegetarian recipes from the Kripalu Yoga Institute.

12. Yes I counted quickly before answering.
But, I only use them for basics - I rarely follow recipes and my winter project is to take all of the internet recipes I've saved and print them out to make the 13th one...Cooking for me is way more fun when you DON'T follow the exact recipe but the cook books are great for inspiration

Well I have worked as a chef for about a15 years now, I lost track when I got over a thousand. People bring me boxes of them from garage sales. If it is cooking related someone will bring it to me. Most of them I have never nor will I ever even open.

I have 4 or 5. even one of my Great Great Grandmother's in which ALL the recipes are in French and it contains a lot of her healing remedies as well and a lot of the family history too.

I have about ten, but with the advent of the internet, you can pretty much just google any recipe at any time, which takes up less space. and i do like to cook.

About 20. I stopped buying them when I got the Internet - now I can look up recipes really easily and store them on disc.

well, i personally don't own them, but i live with my mom, who ironically doesn't cook much at all, but she owns ALOT of cooks books, and she as more of the recipes on the recipe cards then Bill gates has money..lol
i am the one who generally cooks, but i refuse to count how many she has..LOL
