What would it take for a woman about to abort her baby, to change her mind, and bare the baby instead?

Would it be more love?
Money?
Emotional support from family, friends, and the community?
The father of the child wanting the baby, and being able to help raise and support her/him?
Marriage?
A priest telling her it's evil to have abortions?
An easier life?
A good family who would readily adopt the child, and pay all the medical bills?
A look into the future to see their child year by year as they grow?

Of course I am speaking of healthy women who abort their babies.

Miss Shelley, don't pass the responsibility of a mother to her children off on a stranger. If a woman isn't ready for a child, or doesn't want any WTF is she pregnant??????????????????? Didn't anyone tell her what a condom is?

I know you will hate my answer but Hillary Clinton has recommended that some type of counseling be administered within the schools, churches, youth groups, etc, to explain the ramifications of having an abortion. This counseling would be given to everyone whether pregnant or not.

Many women/girls find they have very serious psychological problems after having an abortion. Many just panic at the fear that someone will find out they got pregnant in the first place and never get around to giving any thought at all to the fact that there is actually a little life at stake until its too late.

Sometimes an abortion IS taking responsibility for your own actions. Condoms arn't fool proof in case you didn't know. And seriously...isn't it you people who are always telling us that educating kids about proper condom use is bad????

Why do conservatives care so very much about the unborn but once you're born...you're on your own....

each situation is different, of course, but sometimes a woman isn't ready for a baby, or does not want children.....

you're never going to stop abortion, but if you want to help, you can encourage sex education, improved birth control methods and better birth control availability

you can also donate money to adoption centers, or adopt a child of your own....

you do care about the children after they're born, right?
