is y 3rd day in my period and I dont feel so good, I am using nuva ring, and I feel horrible tired,dizzy, but I also have the flu but Im wondering if the birth control can cause this, and period make you break out?

Correction, your cycle does not cause acne. It causes break outs, not acne, there's a difference. When you cycle your bodies hormones change and that is what causes you to break out, usually along the jawline. That's also why you may feel so terrible, your hormones are all out of whack. I have been on many different types of birth control and they have never made me feel any different. OR IT COULD BE THE FLU!!!! If you get over you flu and you still fell sick call your doctor.

Yes, during your period the chances of you breaking out are much uigher, because your body is just releasing oils and stuff. I forget what it is exactly. Keep a small bottle of astringent and a few cottonballs in your purse during your period and clean your face with it in the afternoon and then in the mornings and evenings too, to get rid of the excess oils coming out of your pores.
