When I was in high school, I enlisted in the army. Greatest excuse ever for the last couple weeks before leaving was I didn't have time because of pre-testing for my military career.
Either doctor appointments, physical testing, aptitude tests, vision tests, the works. And the teachers knew I wasn't going to be around much longer anyway so they always let it go.
