Your best bet is not to have sex with him until you're married to him, if you don't think he'll be taking the relationship seriously.

I think you would be entering very dangerous ground. If you are determined to go through with this make sure you do your homework about what is expected of you as a wife and also spiritually so. You would probably have to give up your religion.
