is the thinkpad T23 a god laptop pc?

It is an old but quite sturdy model that uses P-lll. Standard model has only 256Mb RAM. As is, it will work well in Win98 but slow in Win 2000 or XP.
1. Fan is not loud.
2. RAM is good enough for old OS but needs to be increased for Win XP
3. Price is ok if complete and in good working condition.
4. Battery life would be short if it has the old battery, almost 3 hours on a new battery.
