Get a couple of camisoles or tanks and cut a slit in them where you need an access point. Then you can wear them under your other tops and shirts. Tada! You look like you're layering but you've really got a functional top! The best part is that you can keep your regular clothes and just modify a couple of inexpensive tanks.

I don't have "nursing clothes".
I have pull-up tops, camisoles, and tanks that I wear under a shirt and it works fine. All from target or a the consignment shop.

They ARE really expensive and really not worth the money. I have never needed them and have breastfed 2 children- and am breastfeeding our 15 month old now.

Good luck!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with nursing tops. I prefer to wear a nursing bra, a regular tank top and then a shirt overtop. When I breastfeed I pull up the top shirt and pull down the top of the tank top. You still have lots of coverage and easy access for the baby. I breastfeed like that in public sometimes without any cover and no one sees any part of my breasts.

You don't really need them. All you need is a nursing bra.

I breasted my son for 12 months and am currently brastfeeding my 5 month old twins and I never owned a nursing clothes.

I just life my shirt up and that's it. You can do it well enough that you don't expose yourself at all.

Check at an infant/child consignment store. I saw some in there before cheap and some still had the tags on.

Target has some great nursing bras and camisoles. The bras are only $12.99. Can't beat that. I have two of them and they work great!
