what is the job called that gets finger printa or hairs and matches it to the correct identity or works for detectives in a science lab? I think its called forensic scientist not sure but what do you do to get into it what college in california?

You have a long way to go before you need to make any major decisions. But you will need all your basic class so you are a well educated person because you will be dealing with lots of different people on the job. Then you need lots of chemistry class. By the time you get to that point and are still interested you will know more. A lot of the same class that you would want to be a doctor.

Forensic scientist is correct. Criminal justice is the area. I'd talk to law enforcement about it. A police officer should direct you to the right area.
