If one meter of chain weighs 4 4/5 kg then how much does 2 meters weigh?
4 4/5 kg * 2, right?
So logically, 3 1/4 metres will weigh 4 4/5 kg * 3 1/4 metres or 4 4/5 * 3 1/4.

The box weighs 2 7/8 kg.
Each carton weighs 3 3/4 kg, so together 6 cartons weigh 3 3/4 * 6.
To find the total weight, add the 2 7/8 to the total of (3 3/4 * 6)

Area = Length * Width
7 1/5 = X * 2 1/4 in which X represents length
7 1/5 / 2 1/4 = X

Now do the calculations. You just have to look at the information you already have, and compare it to what you already know. You know the formula for area, so you take the information you have and substitute it into the formula. Then using the proper operation, you can find the answer.

OK Let's see if we can help.

1
Weight equals 3 1/4 x 4 4/5 kilos so
3 1/4 = 13/4
4 4/5 = 24/5 so
13/4 x 24/5 = (13 x 24) / (4 x 5)
13 x 24 = 312
4 x 5 = 20
Weight = 312/20 = 15 12/20 or 15 3 /5 kilos

2
6 cartons weigh 6 x 3 3/4 kilos so
3 3/4 k = 15/4
15/4 x 6 = 90/4 =22 1/2 kilos (or 22 4/8k)
Box weighs 2 7/8 k so
22 4/8 + 2 7/8 = 25 3/8kilos

3
Area = length x breadth
Area = 7 1/5 square cm
Breadth is 2 1/4
length is 7 1/5 divided by 2 1/4
7 1/5 = 7 4/20 or 144/20
2 1/4 = 2 5/20 or 45/20
144/20 divided by 45/20 = 144/45 = 3 9/45 or 3 1/5 cm

well its 4800kg so divide by 4 =1200 so times 4800 by 3 =14400 then add 1200 = 16600g or 16 3/5Kg thats the anser

so 3750 times 6 = 22500 plus 2875 so 25375g

3 1/5cm is the length

there you go they should be right

The second person who answered if you aren't telling them the answer than apparently you don't know the answer. I am 14 and I don't get it. If you are that stuck and nobody can help you try going and ask the teacher for help. I have to do that when I am stuck.
