8 days past conception? The egg implants 6-10 days past conception, and symptoms start after that, usually closer to when your period is due.

Highly unlikely. You need to remember the timeline of how pregnancy occurs - conception itself might not take place for several days after the sexual encounter. It usually occurs up in the fallopian tubes, then the fertilized egg has to travel down into the uterus before it will implant, which could take another day or two. So we're talking there wouldn't even be implantation until possibly day 5-6. It is only then that the fertilized egg begins to secrete the hormone, HCG, which causes the symptoms of pregnancy like swollen breasts, nausea, etc - but it takes several more days after implantation until the levels are high enough to affect the mother.

Most women who get early symptoms do not feel anything until at least 10-14 days after conception. And that's about the time you would see implantation bleeding and probably miss your period.

It would be highly unusual to have symptoms after 8 days. Perhaps not impossible, but very unlikely.
