Actaully you can spell it either one of those names. It is your child and what ever you name it it is you decision but i think it is Alaina or Elaina

I would spell it Elena, but out of your choices, Alaina. Alanah looks like Ah-lah-nah, and Elainah is just confusing looking.

You could spell it any of those ways, but I think the more common ways of spelling it are Alaina and Elena. I personally like Elena better because if she wants a nickname you can call her Ellie or Lena. Alaina is super pretty too, but it's harder to spell.

Just to muddy the waters, I'd spell it Elena. It's the Spanish version of Helen ... I'd say it eh-LAYN-ah.
If you want ah-LAYN-ah, you should probably go with Alaina, which makes it a variant of Alan. (In French, Alan is Alain ... hence Alaina.)
