I know I am a smart girl, and my passion would be to work on cars, but I am kinda scared people will not take me seriously. With ho it is starting out in my classes, it just outs me down. my friend was a blonde too, and she wanted a job so badley, she cut her hair short and dyed it burnette. But I dont want to have to change my appearence. HELP!!!

Ignore the guys. Who cares if they take you seriously?
Just get the best grades in the class on every test, every assignment, etc. Beat them at every turn.
Then laugh at them. !!!

Keep up with the engineering. Ignore the guys that don't respect you. Be friends with the guys that do respect you, and just try hard and do better than the guys that don't respect you (in grades, work, EVERYTHING!). When you get a better job in the future, you can laugh at them. Or if you become one of their superiors, then you can show them who's boss.
Also, just try to be nice to as many people you can. If you don't want them to treat you like a "blonde girl," just don't act out some of the stereotypical "blonde traits." But, you still have to remember to be a strong individual. Even if you do sometimes become the stereotypical blonde, know how to use it to your advantage.

I'm an engineer and it was great to have a good looking girl in our class. Wait ... we didn't have any good looking girls in our class. In fact, it was hard to find an average looking girl in our school!
If you want to work on cars, don't take engineering classes. An engineer is tasked with the design work, not repairing cars. You should take a shop class or go to DeVry - you should be looking into tech classes.
If you are a good looking girl (blonde or not), you have an asset that will get doors opened. You need to take advantage of this and market yourself in a creative way.

How do you know that you aren't being taken seriously? Being blond doesn't give sway to people thinking any less of you as an intelligent person only if your talk or actions indicate so. Make sure of what you say and keep your lips closed if you don't know what to say. Study harder than the class and have the right answers when the time comes.

You can start by helping these guys with their homework... that'll show them who's smarter! If you are passionate about cars, follow your heart regardless what people think.
When you get out in the real (working) world, you'll still need to prove yourself even more just b/c you are a woman and blonde. It's a cruel world, but the auto-mechanic's is a mans world.

First of all no guy is going to say that any girl can not do a man's job, like in your situation (Cars) just relax and ignore the guys because no guy likes to be dominated by a girl in any field of work. "It is like the lion and lioness if the lioness does not hunt then the lion does not eat" So make them hunt for there own answers in class ... if you want my opinion i wouldn't mind having a girl working on my car any anything because times are changing and i hate to say this but i see more ladies doing a man's job nowadays.

properly first of all, you spelled which incorrect... so i became assuming you have been blond. Heh, stereotype i understand, yet its what maximum folk think of. I additionally think of it has plenty to do with the guy, it relies upon on no remember if somebody is into blonde chicks or brunette chicks. I dont think of you're able to care in spite of the undeniable fact that, one way or the different. Your hair sounds nice.

The best revenge will be getting good grades in class. Stick with your friend--it's proven that two girls in a class do better than one by herself! You go, girl! That's terrific. They are afraid you will be better than they are, BTW.
