Ladies,

I'm 5 weeks today and for the last week I have had some cramping, ovary pains etc. The doc said it's normal, but since I had a m/c last month (although then I did not have any pains or cramping) I'm worried. Tell me your experience. Were you cramping on and off or had sharp quick pains in your ovary area? How long does it last? Is it because things are stretching?

Thanks :)

I definitely had some mild cramping early on.
My doc said it was my uterus stretching to make room for baby! :)

Congratulations!

I am 8 weeks right now and up until about last week I had off and on cramping in different areas. I think it is pretty normal. I have not had much of that pain recently, maybe that phase is over?? I don't know. I know it is scary since you don't know what is going on in there, but as long as you are not seeing any blood then I am sure you are safe and sound :)

Good Luck!!

Didnt you already ask this? Because I answered a question JUST like this for a lady who was 5 weeks like an hour ago.

Yes, cramps are normal.

Your doctor actually knows what he's talking about. I know you're concerned, but worrying all the time that you might miscarry is putting you at greater risk of just such an event. Stress is HORRIBLE for early pregnancy.

its mainly because everything is stretching out getting ready to hold a 7-8 pound baby. i felt the same way that early.. yes it was kinda painful but it does go away for a while... you wont feel it all the way throughout your pregnancy. its your uterus stretching.
