Between having a parent with serious cardiac problem, a son with stomach problems, and me fracturing my elbow and Major trouble at work, how do I de stress without hitting the alcohol? I'm trying to look at the bright side of things but its so hard.

I have two older siblings and they dont help, everything is on me. I have family to talk too and I can vent but they can't take some of the load off. I know it will get better and I do pray

the hard thing is the right thing!

you have to build up habits for good thinking!
continue to do this even thought it's hard don't stop!
cuz that is easier then trying to pick yourself off the ground..

you may find this site usefull!

i would try mediation!
keep a log of things your gratefull for!

i mean you have a son
your mother is still alive
i can see some of your roles on life have took a crazy turn!
but you have a job, you have a home, you have a lot more then what i can list!

don't forget about these things!

heck a drink won't hurt you but don't turn into a drunk!
have a A glass of wine and sit down put the kid to bed and turn OFF the tv put down the Book, light a candle and maybe some insence and enjoy yourself !!! sounds like that is what you need!more so
you have a large responsibleity with the health consirns but it also looks like it's out of your control1
stop trying to be super women yes it is hard but you need to learn not to be super women!
life is hard and sucky at times too but you have a child!

also it wouldn't hurt to set your goals in life! all of them I go over mine monthly or quarterly depending on how i feel1
when i start to feel down i need to find something that makes me happy and being creative is my main thing!
so i paint!
and it all goes away!
sometimes a nice little drive around town helps too!

From time to time go into a nice closet in the center of the house and scream as loud as you can. Take in a pillow to beat with a stick and scream into. You would be surprise how much that helps. A few minutes and come out and the world looks better.

Is there anyway you can get some help, from family, friends, church, local groups, state assistance.. something. You need a break girl.

DON'T HIT THE ALCOHOL.

Somethings got to give, and let it not be your health, you'll be kicking yourself later when the toxins give you the hangover, your liver gives out and your skin shrivels up from lack of hydration.

You need LESS stress, not more.

Go to your GP and ask about anti-anxiety meds, next go and find a sliding scale counsellor, through your EAP (work) program or at an agency in your area. It will be healthy for you to talk these things out an come up with a custom-made way to deal with these stressors effectively.

get a fish tank, watch the fish. if you a fireplace, watch the flames flicker, no tv while doing so. A nice soak in the tub or a read a book that has absouletly nothing to do with work or anything relevant you have going one. a corssword puzzle for a few minutes a day.

And of course when all else fails: pray

it is so puzzling via fact i hit upon that even while i'm attempting to de stress, my suggestions continues to be ruminating. So I often could do something to take the concentration thoroughly off of even though it somewhat is i'm questioning of, like study an exceptionally solid e book, watch a movie. i hit upon that gazing trashy television (i be attentive to it sounds so undesirable) takes the concentration off of my existence and onto different peoples drama.. ha! Like those ridiculous actuality shows that are on, workout, take a yoga type, take an artwork type, decide for a stroll, get on the telephone with a chum and spill your guts, take a chilled bubble tub with a intense-high quality glass of wine. I consistently clean while i'm great under pressure, it provides me something to re concentration my skill on and in the top I land up with a clean abode so it somewhat is a win-win. wish you experience extra suitable quickly hon, i be attentive to ways no longer undemanding it somewhat is to circulate by using stress... it form of feels if it is not one component it is yet another. Boo, why won't be able to existence in simple terms be undemanding?!
