Nope. Not pretend to have one. Just want one. (Thanks anyway)
And I don't mean being obsessed with health, more like (eg) wanting to be but not??

Okay, sorry if I offended anyone. I didn't mean to upset people, and I'm not talking about me. I'm just wondering that's all.

I suppose you could say an inferiority complex could cause this.

This type of behavior is usually a cry for attention. Is there someone in your immediate family that has a serious illness and receives a great deal of attention because of it? Are you seeking drugs of some sort? Wanting an illness
when you don't have you is not an illness of itself....you
just need someone to pay some attention to you. Tell you
parents, partner, family, friends, whoever you are close to
that your feeling lonely, or down in the dumps and you would like a little more attention for a while. Try it, you
might be surprised at the results.

you're ideal, all and sundry used to understand, heat temperature = life in fact the 1st time they tried a climate scare, Time magazine warned of a looming ICE AGE. The they warned of it lower back two decades later. (the reason being, heating and cooling follows a 22-12 months cycle interior any greater traits.) We hear information comments proper to the large injury led to with the aid of localized warming events alongside with El Nino, yet what we by no skill hear is that maximum affected areas adventure a internet income by using fact they have: -an prolonged transforming into and pasture season -extra rainfall (much less irrigation necessary) -much less intake of heating skill in chilly months And in case all and sundry is thinking it, malaria isn't a tropical affliction; there replaced right into a terrible outbreak in Siberia.

The closest I can think of is what tangerine said, Munchausen's syndrome. But that really means someone who injures himself/herself to get attention. It doesn't necessarily means one wants a psychiatric disorder.

Why would you want to go through something like that?
Putting people that you love through summat like that?
Actually wanting the illness
Because I am sure there are plenty of people that wished they didn't have a mental illness, and lots of families that wish something could be done to help that person get better
People don't want illness they get them. People that do want illnesses are already ill
Don't you think its a bit insensitive to post a question like that on here, you've prob upset a lot of people if you think about it?

Well, people with Munchausen's syndrome often feign illnesses to draw attention and sympathy to themselves.
