It is not sunnah to celebrate Thanksgiving. As Muslims we celebrate Eid ul-Fitr. All celebrations should only focus on Allah(SWT)...

Thanksgiving is an American holiday, not a religious holiday. There is no reason Muslims couldn't celebrate Thanksgiving.

yes. someone might want a halal turkey if they were to eat turkey but that's the only violation i can think of. there's no idolatory or anything in Thanksgiving which violates the Koran. a muslim might choose not to celebrate thanksgiving because its not explicity in the Koran (or in any other religious doctrine probably for that matter) or because it has no real history in islam, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Anyone can celebrate thanksgiving. Being thankful has nothing to do with religion.

Unless it is not going against the teachings of Islam, like worshipping other than Allah swt., use Haram, ect. There is no harm to celebrate it.

Yes. My ex-boyfriend was Muslim and I introduced him to Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
