24 hours on earth

24 x .426 = 10.224

Saturn days are around 10.2 hours

A day on earth is 24 hours. 50% of a day on earth is 12 hours. 24 hours * .5 = 12. So if you take 24 hours and multiply it by 42.6% (or .426), you'll see that 42.6% of a 24 hour day is 10.224 hours. A day on Saturn is 10.224 hours.

Word problems are hard because we make them so. Take all the information you have, then try to compare it to something you already know.

You knew the 42.6% part ( it was given to you) and you know "of" means multiply, and you know a day has 24 hours.

Math is wonderful because of the practical applications, and because it never varies (good old reliable math), but you can't let it intimidate you.

I'm assuming you really needed help to understand, and weren't just being lazy.

The length of one day (one rotation around its axis) on Saturn is 10.7 hours.
That is, a day on Saturn takes about 0.444 times as long as a day on Earth.
