If money is not an object, then go to Lowes or Home Depot and get a Sights and sounds of Christmas. It will give you 1440 watts of light control set to 6 channels of preprogrammed music (they run around $100).

Decorate around that and you are sure to have a great float.

A large bed with a person/child in it sleeping. Above them is a huge picture of what the "sleeping child" is dreaming about like a baby doll, or truck. Keep it fairly simple but dress it up with sparkles/glitter etc. You have the general idea, now just expand on it to fit your needs. Good luck.

maybe make it like you're in the clouds and there's santa sleigh with santa and his reindeer too ofcourse , and he's sleeping in the sleigh. Then there could be like some kind of mechanical sheep with santa hats jumping over the sleigh.

have you seen polar express? it's kind of like a kid's dream to the north pole. it would be a very cute idea to make it like the polar express.
