I don't like what I have seen thus far - no more truth in media

The fact that the Media ignores a candidate who has won almost every straw poll in a landslide and has managed to raise 4 million dollars in one day (and from real Americans - not Corporate interests) should be proof enough that there is no truth in Media at all!

Americans vote and the Electoral College does its thing!
If the media picked the president, Hillary would have been already elected and she hasn't.

i'm happy you made the excellence between human beings and the Mainstream Media. I evaluate the Mainstream Media to be giving help and convenience to the enemy by way of fact the Mainstream Media desires to harm Bush.

Truth in the Media is a joke. Neither liberals nor conservatives can fairly report the news.
However, I think that Americans will select the next president based upon what the mainstream media wants.
Mainstream media is owned by the same cloak and dagger people that run everything else in our country. They decide, not us.

I don't think the MSM is really pushing a candidate beyond the purpose of making it an exciting race. I never understood why people think that there's some kind of conspiracy to elect certain candidates in the media. They want to make money, above all. But the thing is all the major news companies, if you really look at it, are owned by the same people who own the entertainment media, and many people who used to work in entertainment media are appointed to run news divisions. They want ratings, above all. I think the reason they're covering the election this early is that these people have seen the success of the reality shows, and an election has all the best aspects of a reality show, competition and human drama, and the stakes are much higher. So they want these races to be competitive, the candidates entertaining, and the ratings higher.

I think the majority of people here in Y/a elections will look at the facts or at least think they have and vote accordingly -as for the majority of americans they will vote for whatever is advertised the most on television and get their viewpoints there -and unfortunately the majority of republican contenders are in the swift boat this time around with the exception of Ron Paul -

In this electronic age, neither will elect the President... The Electoral College selects the President. This is a law that needs to be changed to where the popular vote, not the State delegates Elect our President

Well the mainstream media isn't so main stream any more. So just becuase CNN and ABC say something doesn't mean that's what is going to happen.

If Ron Paul wins, then it's the people...if Giuliani or Romney (form the GOP) or Hillary (from the Dems), then it 's the media. Simple as that!
