The best way do determine if you have a slow leak is to check the valve stem first. Remove the valve cap, put saliva on your fingerand run it over the stem. If the saliva bubbles have the valve tightened. If the leak is on the tire, a service station will remove it and rotate it in a trough of water. Aleak in the tire will show up immediately. Your comment about putting air in the tire and it was fine leads me to suspect someone let air out of your tire purposely or as a prank.

you have a leak. If you drove on it flat for more than a few miles you will more than likely need to buy a new tire. the walls of the tires get all chewed up when you run them flat.

Well either it's a bad tire or you might have run over something like a nail. A nail was the cause of my previous two flat tires. They can patch it though. If it's a bad tire, you'll just have to buy a new one.

it ran out of air..

sounds like a slow leak, get a spray bottle, and put some soapy water in it, then spray your valve stem (if it blows bubbles, it's leaking)

if it isn't the valve stem, check around the rim check and the rest of the tire...these are the most likely causes for a flat....

if you can't find the leak, it may have been vandals...

If you drove on the tire the night before and morning while it was flat, the tire is probably ruined. Good luck!

check your tread to c if it has anything in it but id go and get it checked at a tyre shop if driven on flat as u may have damaged sidewall on inside of tyre and may not be visible till u have tyre off rim and that can be very dangerous if it is damaged u could have a blowout good luck
