Someone first uses Marc Lepine now another is using Myra Hydley. Does anyone else find this extremely creepy?

Well, as you know, the scarier the screen name and avatar, the meeker and weaker the actual human.

It's part of the typical troll blame and blubber game.

In this case, they blame feminists for their own sad lives, using stereotypical images drawn more from tabloid media than reality, while attempting to project supposedly scary images in an effort to convince others of what they do not believe themselves ~ that they are strong, self sufficient and intelligent humans with something interesting and intelligent to say.

It's not creepy, as much as pathetic, imo.

Cheers :-)

The same reason the feminists try to shame others.
By the way, your question seems to indicate that all anti-feminists are the same.

I am an anti-feminist and my avatar is the default. That makes you a liar, in a manner of speaking. What I find creepy is that feminists will believe anything another feminist says, even if it is obviously/proven wrong.

I didn't know that they were using killers. Yes it is creepy.

It's also creepy knowing that some men in here want me raped and killed for being here and saying what I want.

I don't know if they are stimulated by this..that would be So Sick and I can believe it.

But I am totally sure that they do this stuff to try to scare and upset women here and make them leave.

And it's Not going to work. I'm not leaving.

They do it to provoke the response of fear, loathing, and revulsion from others here that you have just acknowledged giving them, in other words, they succeded, and you handed them their victory by your response. Unless an individual is threatening to performor alluding to illegal activities, itself an illegal act, then the best response is not to rise to the blatant provocation. In a forum so ripe for political offense-taking as this one, you have to be just as aware and just as calculating as your political opponent.

Yes I do! I remember seeing that pasty face on the cover of a book of famous murder cases.

You have to wonder what motivates a human being to emulate a convicted serial killer, one who killed numerous women because he hated women and feminists.

They're just sad little boys desperately grasping for anything that can help them create a fantasy of having some power in their sad little lives. Truth is, they don't have the guts to ever act on their misogyny. They have to hide behind computer screens.

It isn't pleasant, but I think they are trying to remind us that not all girls are 'sugar and spice and all things nice'. I think some of the guys are feeling a bit 'slugs & snails' about the effects of feminism.

Edit:
Anyone threatening rape should rightfully be reported to the police. Nobody should make such threats, and nobody should think they need to put up with such threats.

Why is the form of this question logically invalid? It presupposes something that hasn't been determined, that anti-feminists find such avatars "stimulating". It's like the question, "When did you stop beating your wife?" asked of someone who isn't known to beat his wife. It's not a very good rhetorical technique, either, since it's so transparent.
