I don't believe it's just the ones cheating, but also the ones who consistently violate the TOS agreement.
And yes, it IS possible to have more than one account and, on one account, ask a question, as another, answer it, then give yourself Best Answer. Why anyone would go to the trouble is beyond me, the points don't give you a new car, or a gas discount or keep US soldiers from getting killed in Iraq, so why cheat to make a ton of worthless points?

Why would anybody take Y/A's so seriously that they would want to cheat the system?
I'm kind of new here, does the top answer person get cash at Christmas?

I would not call it "cheating"
that being said..
rude trolls that live to insult people and only use blogs for their sources and links wont be missed.
but, I'm still not sure why they would get ride of Brian.

If they were indeed point gaming, then yes, I am glad.
To the uninitiated: some people will have "dummy" accounts for the sole purpose of voting for their answers as the best answer. In so many cases, a single vote or two is all you need to push it over in your favor.
