Who said you should? The ultimate decision to even care what one thinks is left to you. However, me thinks that by asking this question, you do show some amount of interest into what others think.

If you are talking about ethics or scientific facts, then you should care about what I think because I probably have constructive input in those areas.
If you are talking about my pure opinions, then you shouldn't care about what I think because Yahoo! Answers doesn't provide the means of communicating the breadth of context necessary for my opinions to have enough reasoning behind them to outweigh your opinions.

You shouldn't--unless I'm your parent, child, preacher, doctor or boss. Then you should probably care.
But since I'm none of those things to you, you really shouldn't care what I think.

cause you would have no empathy and would be alone and be as low as a Murderer. Care about peoples feelings. But dont care about them if they just want attention.... give people respect and you will get so much more back.....

"Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, is a good funny read about a Harvard Ph.D. candidate who learned to listen to her intuitions of love.
You might also like (and learn) with "Man, Master of His Destiny," O. M. Aivanhov, "The Reincarnation of Edgar Cayce," Free and Wilcock, "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet.
Listening to or reading what others think is useful when their thought is of the one Mind, when divine Love is championed with fairness and truth.
