Well my favourite driver is Fernando Alonso but I also like Kimi Raikkonen.
I hate lewis hamilton he is a spoilt arrogant brat!
I hope Kimi keeps his title after the court hearing next week and hamilton doesn't win it because they way hamilton has drove and the way he has treated other drivers this season has been ridiculous and disgusting!!!

I think that Kimi has worked a very long time for this championship. In the past he has come so close so many times, which really shows it's not a one time thing. He has had a lot of bad luck with McLaran and reliability issues. Now he is at a more stable team his competition is mainly Lewis Hamilton, he has something special but he needs more experience. In Brazil this year Hamilton crushed under pressure. Next season is going to be a fight, we don't know where Alonso is going, Hamilton is at McLaran and Kimi is at Ferrari who is also alongside Massa who is also ready to storm through the crowd and win his first championship. Without a doubt i can say that Kimi Raikkonen was the best driver of the 2007 season, he stormed through the crowed and shown what he is really capable of.

I'd say Kimi. He never gives up even when it seems impossible and this year, he won the title fair and square. He's also able to make the best out of any car (remember his McLaren days?).
I think Lewis is no doubt a good driver and as a rookie, he was impressive. Some say it's mostly due to the car, but I don't think it was solely because of that. It takes a combination of a good car and a driver who can make the best out of it to achieve the desired results.
But however, there is too much hype on Lewis. He's good, but the amount of attention he receives is way too much. Do we actually hear about Alonso from the Spanish press ALL the time? What about Kimi? Do we hear the Finnish papers rambling on and on about their Iceman? Go figure.

Pretty much the same answer I had for this at the beginning of the season (though Hamilton really didn't figure into the picture then).
Raikkonen is definitely the best driver on grid, in terms of actually driving the car. He has been one of the best for a few years, and once he got to grip with the Bridgestone tires this year, he was consistently quick.
Alonso comes in a close second. He is not the driver on track that Kimi is, but he is very attuned to doing everything he can to get the best result possible, and he has shown himself to be one of the best drivers in helping to develop a car (look at the results Renault had with him and without, and then how much Mclaren turned around in reliability and race day setup once he arrived).
Hamilton though deserves attention - he's not on par with either of the others yet... but with not even 20 races in F1 yet, it seems likely he could eclipse the others with a little experience. If he actually will is still to be seen, but it looks like he is a special talent that could be a dominating force for a long time.
At the moment though, Kimi gets the nod based on his driving (if he ever becomes adept at helping to develop his car, he'll almost certainly add another championship or two).

It's kimi because he's the world champ. I am an alonso fan and i support him still, but this has not been the best year for the former world champion, having been beaten by both kimi and hamilton. Despite what you may think of the young rookie, you can't deny his talent and skill as a racing driver, after what he's accomplished as a rookie, I'm pretty sure well see him consistently at the front of the grid in the coming years.

Kimi Raikkonen - 110 pts <
Lewis Hamilton - 109 pts <
Fernando Alonso - 109 pts <
Its just a small gap between Kimi and Hamilton and Alonso.. If Alonso and Hamilton are working together, definetely Kimi won't be able to be a champion this season..
Im a Kimi's Fan and i always want to see his glory day. But honestly, Hamilton and Alonso is much better than Kimi.. Kimi's victory is not only from himself, but don't forget the one who was helping Kimi a lot.. Remember, Massa was sacrificed his victory in his own country, Brazil, just b'coz want see his teammate get the world title..
Think, if Massa doesn't helping Kimi in China and Brazil, and in the same time Alonso and Hamilton is not fighting among each other, who will be the champion this season??..

Kimi Raikkonen. Hamilton? Rookie who's rocked the world of F1 when he made his debut. Newspapers everywhere feature him. He's taken the world by storm. But it's getting annoying having to read about him all the time.

Just like most everyone here has said, it has to be Kimi Raikkonen. He has been one of the top drivers since he joined McLaren in 2002.
I am not sure what makes him so much better then the others. I think it is his cool iceman emotions that make him exciting to watch. I think Alonso and Lewis are to talkative and emotional to really like.
But Lewis is a great talent waiting in the wings. He matched and beat his twice world champion team mate. Then again Takuma Sato beat Alonso in the Super Aguri in Canada. Which I still cant believe. But in the end Lewis says the right things. He always says "WE" when they win and "HE" when there is a problem. Alonso said things like he developed the car and he made the car faster by his his driving input. SELFISH!!!

It has to be Kimi because he won the Championship. Ok, I know that Kimi & a Ferrari car won the championship. So does that make Kimi better than, for example, Button? Yes. There are many different things you can use to determine who is the best driver, one of which is championship points, and Kimi got the most, so he is the best this year.

You are Kimi Raikkonen. You've got speed, you seem focus, very consistent driver limiting mistakes. He has the ability to make the most out of a bad car.
