OK. When you give someone a thumbs up does it give them one Point?

if the trolls don't negate your efforts. I'm the one asking the question and I will decide who gets what. Why do they allow those trolls on my question?

It only gives them the point IF they are chosen as "best answer." You can give friends a "thumbs up" even after they've already been chosen as "best answer" and it gives them points. I'll go do that with your account and you'll see... more points in your account, voila!

Someone told me it gives them an extra point if it is picked as best answer. I do not like all the thumbs downs either but I think they do it for attention. I say go ahead you are not breaking up my day. I will be happy with or without them

Yes, It gives the person one point for each thumbs up. Now everyone thumbs me up baby!

a best answer would then get you a total of 62 points
2 for answering
10 for best answer
50 for thumbsup

Yes, it gives them one point...but, if too many thumbs-down fairies counter-act your effort...no extra points.

they only get 1 point per thumbs if you give them best answer, otherwise they don't mean squadiddly...
