So... i'm 35 weeks tomorrow... and all day today i've been feeling sluggish and just plain gross. and i'm wondering if this could be affecting my baby and making him feel the same?

he was moving fine last night, and he was moving fine earlier... but i haven't felt him move in awhile. like, a few hours. and this is his usual time of activity. i keep trying to nudge him to make him move. i've felt a couple nudges back, but nothing like he usually does. just a punch out and then he moved his butt over so i'd stop pushing him. but he usually flails or something.

he started dropping this week, so his head is further down, and i keep getting this weird pain in my left hip. this is my first pregnancy, and its just making me really nervous.

♥ Well at 35 weeks the baby doesnt have much room at all to move around in there. Dont panic! Simply try drinking something cold [[orange juice perhaps]] and lay on your back. Your baby should move a little then. Also try shining a flash light at your tummy... this prompts the baby to move away from the light. [[Although their eyes are closed, they can still "see" the light]]. If these suggestions dont work, call your doctor and voice your concerns. Good Luck and Congratulations! :-)

Drink a glass of something cold and sweet(orange juice) lay flat on your back and you should feel atleast 10 kicks in 1 hour. If not contact your doctor.

ground him...

if he has dropped low this week then his head is firmly in your pelvis and moving around a whole lot is not very comfy for him... you will get shorter periods of activity, and more sleeping, by 34 weeks we couldnt get my first daughter to stay awake for an ultrasound, and pushing her around didnt help at all.. the tech was literally pushin my tummy back and forth and nothing... we tried juice, and still she slept...

on a lighter note I am 19 weeks, and I happend to lay down and go to rub my belly and this lil bugger had her head or her bum all the way over, i could literally feel her body, SOOO exciting!

I am sure all those things work. When I was pregnant and I couldn't feel my daughter moving I would lay on the couch and put the TV remote on my belly. After a few seconds the remote would start moving. It was great for a laugh if nothing else.

Honey, I would get ready to be a mommy- sooner than later. You are describing *exactly* what happened to me in the day or so before I went into labor two weeks early. My advice: If you have any errands to run or things to get done before the big event, I would get busy! Good luck!
P.S.- If you are feeling nervous, a call to your OBGYN or midwife probably would make you feel better.

Drink some orange juice, or try a big glass of ice cold water. Give it about 30 minutes and he should be moving =)

He is probably sleeping, sometimes when the move alot in one day the next they sleep alot. Drink some kool-aid or somthing with sugar to give him some energy. If that doesn't work see your doctor so you can do a kick test.

everything is probably okay...he may just be asleep..my little one would often change his 'active hour' nearly scaring me half to death.

you can also try laying on your side
drinking something cold/ sweet

if you sense something is wrong, please call your doctor-not to scare you, but just to be sure and safe :) Congratz and good luck to you and your family!
