We are young, active & experienced travelers looking for advise in Nassau & Freeport.
Our interest are in beaches & activities like:
We loved to swim with the StingRay & hang out on 7 mile beach in Caymen,
mountain biking in Cancun, climbing Dunn River Falls in Jamaica
We're not into bus rides, shopping, tour groups, being inside!

ANY SUGGESTIONS????

Check the "Ports of Call" boards at CruiseCritic.com [click on "Boards" at the top of the page first].

When we were in Nassau on a cruise, we went on the Blue Lagoon excursion through the cruiseline [Carnival], because it was our first cruise [didn't know you could do them yourself - and we hadn't discovered CC yet!]. It was a mixed experience.

There is a StingRay city in Nassau, but it is not very good. I'd just catch a taxi at the dock and go to Cable Beach, where you can arrange all kinds of water sports.

I did the tour of atlantis this year, but when we went 3 years ago, we did the party boat. It was nice, and when you get to the beach, the locals have all kins of watersports that you can get into.
