Go to the Indiana Motor Vehicle Department and ask them. Only you know why you lost your driver's license. If it was because of a DUI and you haven't taken the classes, you may not be able to get it back. Do Michigan and Indiana have reciprocity? That means if you lost it in one state, does the other one honor that restriction on your license.

NO, as quickly as you will desire to sparkling up any license from any state till now getting yet another one. regardless of in case you pretend you lost the only in Indiana, you nevertheless could desire a evidence of start certificates, or some thing who you're to coach for a sparkling license, with a image identity. Why would be unable to you pay off the cost ticket in Michigan? extra ideal to pay it off then the proceed annoying and looking out over your shoulder.

If you mean "lost" as in "drat, I can't find it", you go into the DMV in Indiana and tell them you have a Michigan license that is valid, but you can't find it. They will check, and issue you a IN license.
If you mean "lost" as in the courts revoked it for stupidity on your part, you will need to contact MI and find what it will take to get your license valid again, probably proof you paid your fines and whatever else they told you in court to begin with. Once your MI license is valid again, turn it in to IN for a new one.
If you are assuming since you moved to another state you can get it back, wrong. A revoked license in one state means a revoked license in the other 49 also.

I can't help you with exact details, but I would imagine it would have something to do with what you lost your license for in Michigan.
I suggest that you call the Indiana motor vehicle office (or whatever it is called there). They would be best able to help you.

Usually there's reciprocity between states. If you get turned down maybe go to the smallest town you can find and they might still have a license bureau not hooked up to the states computer system.....but I doubt any of those exist anymore.

Both MI and IN are interstate compact States, so MI will have to restore your driving privileges before IN will issue you a license.
You need to contact the DMV in MI and ask them what steps you need to take to get your privileges restored.

IF YOU KNOW THE LICENSE NUMBER YOU CAN GO TO THE DMV AND REQUEST A TRANSFER TO THE NEW STATE, BEWARE THAT IF YOU LET THE OLD LICENSE EXPIRE THEN YOU WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE DRIVING TEST ALL OVER AGAIN. GOOD LUCK.

You would have to have it reinstated in Michigan in order to get one in Indiana.
