ok so iread on wikipedia that a sandard twin mattress was 75 inches long so 6 feet 3 inches. is that true? that seems kind of big for a twin mattress dont u think. also does that include the circulaar pat aty the top of the mattress thanks

Well, that doesn't sound right to me because I'm 5'9" and my feet hang off the end of a twin. However, I've done a little research and just about every site says 73-75" for a standard twin and 80" for a long twin. maybe I get longer when I stretch out. So, for your question, it appears to be true.
