I believe when the Colts were 13-0 and when the Vikings were 15-1, they didn't need this type of self-reassurance about their team...

there are two certainties that come with a long period of domination in a professional sport as the patriots have expereinced recently. First, eveyone wants to knock you down whoever is on top. combine that with the fact that the patriots have caused fans of lierally every other NFL team dissapointment and anger over the past six years and you will be left with an army of "haters"

Now in my studies i have found two main breeds of haters. The first is the hater that still beleives, despite the fact that the object of his hatred has once again beaten his favourite team, that his team is superior to the patriots. This breed of hater is an expert at making up excuses such as: "they are cheating" or "we had injuries" or "they have a weak schedule". They are also experts at "if" statements such as "if we were at home we would have won" or "if tom brady got hurt they wouldnt be so good". For the most part this breed is semi-intelligent but highly annoying.

The second breed of hater that I have come accross is what i like to call "the homophobic hater" or "homohater" if you will. This type of hater is far less inteligent but far more annoying than the first, more common breed of hater. This hater can easily be spotted in blogs accross the internet. To him any sports figure he doesnt like is gay or more commonly seen in text "a f*g". in a chat room about the accomplishments of the patriots one would be seen making a comment such as "brady is a f*g" or "all of the patriots suck c*ck". Comments from this breed are usually very simplistic but the more detailed they get, the more uninteligent and annoying the subject may be. Warning: its always best to avoid starting a conversation with a homophobic hater as you too will be called a "f*g" or a "c*ck sucker". Also they are pointless and generally go absolutely nowhere.

Amazing. The Yankees don't get this kind of hate on the baseball board. I can't understand it. Brady is as cool a quarterback as there is in the NFL. He is totally unflappable in the clutch. Randy Moss reinvented himself in the Patriot mold. Stallworth and Welker are doing fantastic. The defense is as good as any. What is there not to love? They don't act like they've never been in the end zone when they score. Even guys like Vrabel know how to act when they score a touchdown. They don't say idiotic things to the press or talk radio. It is a well coached team assembled by an ingenious front office.
But the Colts as a team do have a lot more commercials,I will give you that.

There is no better team.That's why after their first Superbowl win every other team did as they did.
Everyone has to remember how they ran out on the field as a TEAM rather than being introduced one at a time.Since then every team has done the very same thing.They are a team that all others have tried to emulate.

Be careful on that bandwagon, you might fall and hurt yourself. Enjoy it while you can though, because good things always come to an end and I look forward to you saying this same statement about another team next season. I'm guessing it will be the team with the winning record.
