Use a cuticle balm or nail oil to moisturize your nails and protect them from water when you wash your hands. (ex. Solar Oil, OPI Avoplex) Vit E oil, jojoba oil, Aquaphor Healing Ointment, Vaseline or plain Chapstick will work too.

Avoid products w/ formaldehyde or toluene, they are very hard on nails.

Some women swear by taking pre-natal vitamins.

hi, just use sally hanson hard as nails, its old school i know, but its cheap and works. Also, you have to wait it out. The will grow out to normal in about 2 months.
